Today, a preventive event on “Combating the Illegal Circulation of Narcotic and Psychotropic Substances” was organized at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute.
The event was attended by S. Eshbekova, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Enlightenment Activities; N. Abdurakhmonov, Rector’s Advisor responsible for maintaining social and moral stability among students; M. Mirzabekov, Dean of the Faculty of Transport Engineering; N. Rasulova, the institute’s prevention inspector; as well as students and young participants.
During the event, participants were provided with detailed information on the negative effects of narcotic and psychotropic substances on human health, mental state, and societal development.
The causes of these vices, preventive measures, and legal responsibilities established by law were also explained.
Speakers emphasized the importance of promoting a healthy lifestyle among youth, organizing free time meaningfully, and actively participating in sports and educational events. The role of family, educational institutions, and community cooperation in forming resistance to harmful habits was also highlighted.
At the conclusion of the event, students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive detailed answers from specialists. Such preventive meetings serve to prevent legal violations among youth, strengthen a healthy social and moral environment, and protect them from various harmful habits.
