Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8 in a достойная and festive manner.

A festive event dedicated to International Women’s Day was organized at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute.

The event was attended by the institute’s leadership, professors and teachers, staff members, and students. The ceremony began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the event, the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work, S. Eshbekova, delivered a speech and conveyed the holiday greetings of the Rector to the participants, warmly congratulating all women on this special occasion.

In addition, a number of female professors and staff members were awarded certificates of honor and valuable gifts in recognition of their dedication to their work, their selfless service, and their contributions to guiding students in mastering the fundamentals of science. Talented female students who distinguished themselves through high academic achievements, exemplary behavior, talent, initiative, and active participation in public life were also duly encouraged by the Trade Union.

Artistic performances prepared by students were presented during the event, adding a festive and uplifting atmosphere to the celebration.

As part of the program, the “Zulfiyaxonim qizlari” contest was also organized. The competition was held in several stages.

The first stage included a self-introduction, where participants presented information about themselves, their activities, and interests. In the second stage, participants answered questions related to the life and works of Uvaysiy, Nodirabegim, Zulfiya, and Halima Xudoyberdiyeva. In the third stage, participants presented video materials about their achievements in sports. The fourth stage focused on the art of carving, where participants demonstrated their creativity through fruit decoration. In the fifth stage, participants showcased their talents on a free topic.

According to the final results of the competition, the following students took the honorary places. The Grand Prize was awarded to Sevinch Tarmasheva, a student of the Transport Engineering Faculty. First place was taken by Arofat Kiyamova, a student of the Industrial Technologies Faculty. Second place went to Gulnoza Toshmatova, a student of the Civil Engineering Faculty. Third place was awarded to Gulsevar Sharipova, a student of the CyberSport Faculty.

The following special nominations were also awarded. The “Most Talented Girl” nomination was given to Bibisora Mardiyeva, a student of the Energy Engineering Faculty, while the “Most Initiative Girl” nomination was awarded to Raxima Egamqulova, a student of the Industrial Technologies Faculty.

Participants who actively took part in the competition and achieved winning places were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts.

The festive event concluded with sincere congratulations, artistic performances, and a joyful atmosphere.
