Today, at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, a drawing competition on the theme “Navruz Traditions” was organized at a high level among students.

This creative competition was held on the eve of the widely celebrated Navruz holiday in our country and served to further strengthen the sense of respect and appreciation for our national values among young people.

The main objective of the competition was to widely promote national traditions and values among students, develop their creative abilities, enrich their artistic thinking, and encourage them to express the essence and significance of the Navruz holiday through art.

Talented students selected from various faculties of the institute took part in the competition. Using their own art materials, participants skillfully depicted different aspects of Navruz in their works — such as sumalak festivities, traditional games, spring landscapes, and the ideas of kindness and unity. Each artwork clearly reflected the author’s unique approach, broad imagination, and artistic taste.

During the competition, the jury evaluated the participants’ works objectively based on established criteria. In particular, completeness of theme coverage, compositional solution, color harmony, and level of creativity were considered as key evaluation criteria.

According to the final results, the following students were declared winners and prize-winners:

🥇 1st place – Mushtariy Abdurazoqova (Faculty of Energy Engineering, group 421-25 MvaS);
🥈 2nd place – Muhlisa Qo‘shnazarova (Faculty of Civil Engineering, group 721-25 ARX);
🥉 3rd place – Siddiqjon Erkinov (Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture, group 232-23).

In addition, the creative works of other active participants were also specially recognized, and their efforts were highly appreciated.
