Supporting the younger generation in all aspects, providing them with quality education, equipping them with professional skills, and ensuring their employment are among the priority areas of state policy in our country. In recent years, the comprehensive reforms implemented in this direction have been yielding positive results.
As a practical manifestation of these processes, a “Career Day” employment and internship fair was organized at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute with the aim of ensuring the employment of students and graduates and facilitating their effective integration into the labor market.
The event was held within the framework of implementing the priority tasks set by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding the employment of higher education graduates, as well as in execution of the relevant order of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.
📊 For reference, in 2026 the institute is expected to graduate:
• 1,969 students in 32 undergraduate programs
• 71 students in 20 master’s specialties
👉 totaling 2,040 graduates.
Of these, 1,253 graduates are from Jizzakh region, which indicates a strong potential for supplying the regional labor market with qualified specialists.
At the same time, during February–March of the current year, a number of practical measures were implemented to ensure graduate employment and to encourage their engagement in entrepreneurship. In particular, meetings were held in cooperation with commercial banks on the allocation of preferential loans, with special attention given to developing young people not only as employees but also as entrepreneurs.
🤝 During the event, open dialogues were held with graduates with the participation of the institute’s leadership and faculty members. The tripartite agreements concluded to ensure employment were analyzed, and existing issues were studied based on an individual approach.
🏢 More than 40 leading organizations and enterprises from Jizzakh region participated in the fair, presenting available job vacancies and internship opportunities to students and graduates.
Currently, the process of concluding tripartite agreements with graduates is continuing consistently.
✨ “Career Day” plays an important role in establishing effective communication between young people and employers and in creating a solid foundation for future cooperation.
