An international scientific and practical conference was organized within the framework of the “Engineering Month.”

On April 4, 2026, Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute hosted a high-level international scientific and practical conference titled “Understanding National Identity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Turon Historical Heritage and Contemporary Development,” organized by the Jizzakh branch of the International Turon Academy of Sciences.

The prestigious event brought together representatives from domestic and foreign higher education institutions, distinguished scholars, and specialists, who participated with their presentations and scientific works on pressing academic topics.

During the conference, speakers emphasized the relevance of the event. In particular, it was noted that understanding national identity, studying our rich historical heritage in depth, and developing it using contemporary approaches are among the most important tasks in the era of advancing artificial intelligence.

Furthermore, in accordance with the principle “Rich History — Great Future,” promoted by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, it was highlighted that studying and widely promoting the legacy of our ancestors is a key responsibility of the scientific community. It was stressed that artificial intelligence and modern technologies should serve not to diminish our national identity, but to showcase it to the world.

The conference covered broad discussions on artificial intelligence, national identity, historical heritage, and contemporary development, and offered important proposals and recommendations aimed at strengthening scientific cooperation.

Notably, over 150 theses and scientific articles were submitted for the conference, reflecting the scientific community’s strong interest in Turon history, national values, and contemporary global processes.

Moreover, active participation from professors and researchers from Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan contributed to the further strengthening of international academic ties.

The conference highlighted that the scientific research conducted by the Jizzakh branch of the Turon Academy of Sciences is aimed at studying our rich historical heritage using modern technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, and delivering it to future generations in a digitized form.

In conclusion, sincere gratitude was expressed to all speakers, professors, young researchers, and international partners, with confidence that their scientific activities will serve as a strong bridge connecting the great past of the Turon era with a bright future.
