On April 20, 2026, the Rector of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, A. Usmankulov, held a meeting with the professors and teachers of the “Energy and Electrical Technologies” department, as well as students studying in related fields.

This meeting was organized to ensure the implementation of the tasks set during an online meeting held on April 18, 2026, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Qo‘ng‘irotboy Sharipov. The online meeting focused on improving energy efficiency in the fuel and energy sector and further developing the system of training graduate students based on dual education.

During the meeting, current priorities in the field, practical mechanisms, and issues related to strengthening the integration of education and industry were discussed in detail.

In particular, professors and teachers of the department were assigned to districts across the region and given responsibility for achieving energy efficiency at the local level. They were also tasked with carrying out consistent work aimed at improving energy efficiency in cooperation with students, as well as introducing scientific innovations and recommendations into production processes.

At the same time, special attention was paid to developing clear mechanisms for the effective organization of dual education, aligning curricula with practical processes, and supporting scientific and innovative activities.

Additionally, a phased procedure for involving students in the dual education system was established.

At the end of the meeting, participants were given specific assignments to develop concrete and practical proposals in these areas.
