In order to ensure the implementation of the Order No. 108 dated March 16, 2026 of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the instructions given at the video conference meeting held on April 18, 2026, in cooperation with the General Prosecutor’s Office, the Ministry of Energy, and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, aimed at improving energy efficiency in the fuel and energy sector and enhancing the system of training graduating students based on dual education, a number of practical activities are being carried out at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute.
In particular, 3rd- and 4th-year students of the “Energy and Electrical Technologies” Department of the institute have been involved in a six-week dual education program from April 20 to May 30 of the current year. They have been assigned qualified professors and lecturers, as well as specialists from the Jizzakh regional branch of JSC “Regional Electric Networks,” and specific tasks have been set to improve energy efficiency in the region.
At present, students are conducting systematic field studies in districts and enterprises under the guidance of faculty members.
The energy consumption of electricity consumers and enterprises is being comprehensively analyzed, and based on the results of these studies, scientifically and technically grounded solutions and necessary recommendations are being developed.
During the studies, scientific and technical research is being carried out at substations, transformers, power transmission networks, as well as technological processes and energy equipment of industrial enterprises, with a focus on energy saving and reduction of energy losses.
At the same time, students are gaining the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice, which contributes to further strengthening their professional skills.
