🔬 On April 26 of the current year, the official award ceremony of the Abu Ali ibn Sino International Biology Olympiad was held.

⏰ According to the final results, the national team of Uzbekistan won a total of 11 medals at this Olympiad, including 2 gold, 3 silver, and 6 bronze medals.

It should be noted that this year, for the second time the Olympiad was held, bringing together 94 students from 12 countries around the world.

A second-year student of the Natural Sciences track (group 24-05) at the Academic Lyceum of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, Diyorbek Karimov, became a 🥈 silver medalist at this prestigious Olympiad.

📊 For reference, the following monetary awards are granted for medals in regional international Olympiads:

➖ Gold medalist — 4.944 million UZS; their teacher — 20.6 million UZS;
➖ Silver medalist — 3.296 million UZS; their teacher — 14.42 million UZS;
➖ Bronze medalist — 2.472 million UZS; their teacher — 12.36 million UZS.
