The V International Student Conference titled “New Uzbekistan: Swallows of Science – 2026” was organized at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute.

The conference was held in two sections:
— “Scientific and Technical Conference of Students”;
— “Competition of Scientific Research Works of Talented Students”.

The scientific and technical conference was organized across 5 specialized sections, while the scientific research competition was conducted in 8 nomination categories.

The international conference brought together 12 representatives from higher educational institutions of 5 foreign countries, as well as more than 300 talented students and their academic supervisors from 14 higher educational institutions across Uzbekistan.

During the conference, participants exchanged views on the challenges and solutions related to the implementation of innovative ideas and scientific developments by talented undergraduate and graduate students studying at higher educational institutions in the republic.

The conference was organized within the framework of one of the priority areas for the development of science and technology in the Republic — “Energy, Energy Efficiency and Resource Conservation”.

At the plenary session, presentations were delivered by representatives of:
— Kyrgyz State Technical University;
— Hebei International Studies University of the People’s Republic of China;
— M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University;
— “Uzsanoatqurilish” JSCB;
— “Uzsanoatqurilishmateriallari” Association;
— “Knauf Gips Bukhara” FE LLC;
— “Bazalt Uzbekistan” Industrial Cluster.

A total of 146 students from foreign and national higher educational institutions participated in the competition nominations with their scientific research projects. During the evaluation process, 8 Doctors of Science and Professors, as well as 14 PhD holders and Associate Professors from higher educational institutions and industrial organizations of the republic, served as experts.

In addition to undergraduate and graduate students studying in the fields of architecture and construction, specialists from:
— “Uzsanoatqurilish” JSCB;
— “Uzsanoatqurilishmateriallari” Association;
— “Knauf Gips Bukhara” FE LLC;
— “Bazalt Uzbekistan” Industrial Cluster
also took part in the international conference and actively participated in the expert evaluation of students’ scientific works.

At the conclusion of the conference, commemorative gifts were presented to the winners of the competition by “Uzsanoatqurilish” JSCB, “Knauf Gips Bukhara” FE LLC, the “Uzsanoatqurilishmateriallari” Association, and the “Bazalt Uzbekistan” Industrial Cluster.
