It was previously reported that 3rd–4th year students of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute were involved in a 6-week dual education process lasting from April 20 to May 30 of the current year. Within this practical training, professors and qualified specialists from the Jizzakh regional branch of JSC “Regional Electric Networks” were assigned, and specific tasks were set to improve energy efficiency across the regions.
In a short period, students and specialists studied substations, transformer points, power networks, and technological processes of industrial enterprises. In addition, practical and scientific research activities were carried out aimed at saving energy resources in power equipment, reducing electricity losses, and increasing efficiency.
Today, at a meeting held under the leadership of the Institute’s Rector, Alisher Usmankulov, the preliminary results of the conducted studies were comprehensively analyzed. During the meeting, presentations were delivered by faculty members and students on the work being carried out in all districts and cities of the region, along with detailed information on ongoing research activities.
During the meeting, the rector acknowledged the completed work and outlined priority tasks and specific instructions for future implementation.
