A meeting was held at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute with the participation of the Institute’s Rector, Alisher Usmankulov, and the Head of the Jizzakh Regional Branch of the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Amanov.

During the meeting, the parties emphasized that one of the most pressing priorities of today is the training of highly qualified engineering specialists equipped with modern knowledge and practical skills that meet the requirements of the international labor market, as well as ensuring employment opportunities for graduating students and young people.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation was signed between Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute and the Jizzakh Regional Branch of the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

As a practical outcome of this cooperation, the Institute has introduced training in modern professions based on international standards and established a specialized training course designed to prepare drivers for work in the field of international freight transportation.
The primary objective of the Memorandum is to develop the language and professional qualifications of citizens wishing to undertake temporary employment abroad, including the Institute’s graduates, in accordance with the requirements of foreign employers and international standards, as well as to promote a safe, orderly, and legal labor migration system.

In accordance with the agreement, the parties plan to develop joint proposals aimed at increasing the effectiveness of employment opportunities for citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Institute’s graduates in foreign countries, organize professional development programs, and assist in securing overseas employment for citizens who successfully complete these programs.

In addition, the cooperation envisages the development of joint programs and projects, the exchange of practical experience, the organization of mutual visits, internships and consultations, as well as the holding of conferences, seminars, and meetings.

This Memorandum will serve as an important legal and practical foundation for enhancing the competitiveness of graduates of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute in the international labor market, enabling them to acquire modern professions and obtain достойные employment opportunities.
