A strategic meeting was held at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, featuring the Institute’s Rector, Alisher Usmankulov, and the Head of the Jizzakh Regional Branch of the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Amanov.
During the session, the parties underscored that training highly qualified engineering specialists with modern knowledge and practical skills tailored to the international labor market remains a critical contemporary priority. They also emphasized the vital importance of securing sustainable employment opportunities for graduating students and youth.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation was formally executed between the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute and the Jizzakh Regional Branch of the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
As an immediate practical outcome of this partnership, the Institute has launched training programs in modern professions aligned with international standards. This includes the establishment of a specialized course dedicated to preparing drivers for international freight transportation.
The primary objective of the Memorandum is to upgrade the language proficiency and vocational qualifications of citizens—including the Institute’s graduates—seeking temporary employment abroad. These initiatives will align strictly with foreign employer requirements and international benchmarks to promote a safe, orderly, and legal labor migration system.
Under the agreement, the parties intend to formulate joint proposals to boost employment efficiency for Uzbekistani citizens and Institute graduates abroad. They will organize professional development programs and actively assist citizens who successfully complete these courses in securing overseas placement.
Furthermore, the collaboration outlines the development of joint initiatives, the exchange of practical expertise, and the facilitation of mutual visits, internships, and consultations. The framework also encompasses hosting collaborative conferences, seminars, and bilateral meetings.
This Memorandum establishes a robust legal and practical foundation to enhance the competitiveness of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute graduates in the global marketplace, empowering them to master modern professions and secure dignified employment.
