Ensuring Graduate Employment as a Priority Task

At Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, special attention is being given to the comprehensive support of young people, helping them acquire modern professional skills, actively engage in entrepreneurship, and ensuring the employment of graduates.

In this regard, an extended meeting was held under the leadership of the Rector of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Professor Alisher Usmankulov, with the participation of responsible executives.

The meeting was attended by vice-rectors, faculty deans, heads of departments, division chiefs, and other responsible staff members.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Rector provided detailed information on the assignments of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, documents received during the week, their implementation status, and the tasks to be carried out.

The participants also discussed issues related to the effective organization of the educational process, improving the quality of education, enhancing the credit-module system, ensuring high-quality instruction, advancing faculty professional development, and introducing digital educational technologies. Relevant instructions were given regarding ongoing efforts to create a modern and comfortable learning environment for students.

During the meeting, comprehensive analyses were conducted on educational quality, research activities, international cooperation, strengthening the scientific potential of faculty members, and improving the institute’s material and technical base. The implementation of target indicators was reviewed, and specific tasks were defined to address existing challenges.

In addition, particular attention was paid to equipping modern laboratories, renovating academic buildings, implementing innovative projects, attracting investment, actively participating in international grants and projects, and expanding cooperation with foreign partner organizations.

Measures being taken to develop the dual education system were also discussed. Relevant instructions were given to further expand cooperation with industrial enterprises and organizations, assign students to practical training sites, increase the scope of hands-on training, and integrate specialized subjects with real production processes in order to strengthen students’ theoretical knowledge with practical skills.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was emphasized that ensuring the employment of graduating students, training them in modern professions aligned with international standards, developing entrepreneurial competencies, and preparing them as competitive specialists in the labor market are among the institute’s top priorities.
