A “Leader and Youth” Dialogue Meeting Was Held

In order to ensure the implementation of the priority tasks outlined during the open dialogue between the President and young people, as well as to study youth concerns and proposals, support their initiatives, and discuss employment issues, a “Leader and Youth” dialogue meeting was organized at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute.

The event was attended by the Governor of Baxmal District, Aziz Mamarasulovich Ergashev, the district prosecutor, the head of the district tax inspectorate, the Deputy Governor for Family and Women's Affairs, representatives of the District Department for Poverty Reduction and Employment Promotion, the Head of the Baxmal District Department of the Youth Affairs Agency, representatives of commercial banks, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, Maqsudjon Ochilov, professors and instructors from Baxmal District working at the institute, as well as students, particularly graduating students.

During the meeting, the employment status of students and graduating seniors from Baxmal District studying at the institute was comprehensively analyzed, and views were exchanged on existing challenges and their solutions.

According to the data presented, 497 students from Baxmal District are currently studying at the institute. Of these, 212 are enrolled in full-time programs, 9 in evening programs, 245 in part-time programs, 11 in distance learning programs, 2 in joint educational programs, and 16 are pursuing master's degrees. A total of 108 students from the district are expected to graduate during the current academic year, including 48 full-time bachelor's students, 53 part-time students, and 7 master's students.

Employment analysis showed that 26 graduates are already employed, 6 are engaged in childcare for children under two years of age, 15 intend to continue their education at the next level, and 1 plans to complete military service. Responsible organizations were assigned specific tasks to ensure employment opportunities for the remaining 57 graduates.

It was also noted that, within the framework of the President’s “Step Toward the Future” initiative, two students have become self-employed. In addition, three students expressed their intention to start entrepreneurial activities and requested land allocation and preferential loans. Relevant organizations were tasked with providing practical assistance regarding these requests.

The dialogue also focused on innovative ideas, promising projects, and initiatives proposed by talented students. Particular attention was paid to supporting these initiatives, facilitating their implementation, and creating new opportunities. Participants further discussed measures aimed at developing science, modern technologies, entrepreneurship, and youth employment.

Graduating students received detailed information about available job vacancies, career opportunities, investment projects being implemented in the district, and mechanisms for supporting entrepreneurship. Suggestions and initiatives presented by students were carefully considered, and responsible officials were assigned specific tasks to facilitate their implementation.

Held in an open and sincere atmosphere, the meeting served as an important platform for enhancing youth engagement, supporting their initiatives, ensuring employment, and providing guidance for their future professional careers. At the conclusion of the event, officials provided explanations regarding the issues raised by students and outlined future areas of cooperation and priority tasks.
