Today, the 4th Uzbekistan–Türkiye Rectors’ Forum on the theme “Advancing Uzbekistan–Türkiye Higher Education Cooperation for Global Competitiveness” commenced at Bukhara State Technical University.

The opening ceremony was attended by Erol Arjaklioglu, Member of the Executive Committee of the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Türkiye and Head of the Turkish Delegation; Asror Norov, Director of the Innovation Development Agency; Bakhtiyor Odilov, Deputy Governor of Bukhara Region; and Sadoqat Siddiqova, Rector of Bukhara State Technical University, who welcomed the participants of the forum.

The forum has brought together representatives of nearly 60 higher education institutions from Uzbekistan and Türkiye, including rectors, vice-rectors, professors, and international experts.

Within the framework of the forum, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute and Anadolu University, one of Türkiye’s leading higher education institutions.

The signing of this memorandum represents an important step toward expanding the international cooperation network of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, enhancing the quality of education and scientific potential, and creating broader international educational and research opportunities for students and young researchers.
