Members of the Uzbekistan national team delivered an outstanding performance at the Open International Biology Olympiad (OIBO–2026) being held in Sochi, achieving remarkable results.

Representing the honor of our country at this prestigious international competition, the six-member national team won a total of six medals, including two silver medals and four bronze medals.

Notably, among the team members was Diyorbek Karimov, a second-year student of Group 24–08 in the Natural Sciences program at the Academic Lyceum of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute. He earned a bronze medal, successfully representing both his country and educational institution on the international stage.

This achievement is the result of the student's dedication to learning, the devoted efforts of his teachers, and the effective educational environment created at the Academic Lyceum.
