An integrated system encompassing education, research, laboratories, and startups in the field of chemistry will be established.

This was announced during a videoconference meeting on the development of the chemical industry held on June 2 under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The Head of State noted that after speaking with young laboratory specialists working at enterprises, students participating in dual education programs, and reviewing presentations by scientists, he became convinced that science is increasingly being integrated into the sector.

At the same time, it was emphasized that there is still a significant amount of work to be done in this area. In particular, the need to establish an integrated system covering education, scientific research, laboratories, and startups in the field of chemistry was highlighted.

To ensure the implementation of the tasks set during the meeting, a number of practical measures are currently being carried out at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute.

In this regard, today the Rector of the Institute, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Professor Alisher Usmankulov, held a meeting with the faculty members and researchers of the Department of Chemical Engineering.

During the meeting, the priority tasks and directives outlined by the President regarding the development of the sector were communicated to the specialists.

Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening cooperation with industrial enterprises in the region, conducting an in-depth analysis of existing challenges, and developing scientifically grounded solutions to address them. In addition, instructions were given to align bachelor's graduation projects, master's theses, and research topics with real industrial problems and production needs.

While listening to the opinions and proposals of scientists and specialists, the Rector emphasized that the Institute's administration would provide comprehensive support in resolving any issues that may arise during the implementation of the assigned tasks.

At the conclusion of the meeting, specific responsibilities were assigned to relevant officials to ensure the effective implementation of the designated tasks.
