A “Leader and Youth” meeting was organized at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute with the aim of ensuring the implementation of the priority tasks identified during the President’s open dialogue with young people, studying their concerns and proposals, providing comprehensive support, and discussing issues related to youth employment.
The event was attended by Ibrohim Qarshiboyev, Governor of Yangiobod District; Sh. Salimov, District Prosecutor; J. Xojanov, Head of the District Department of Internal Affairs; Abdurahmon Rabbimov, Chairman of the Jizzakh Regional Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan; Rector of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Professor Alisher Usmankulov; faculty deans, department heads, professors, students from higher education institutions across the region, and responsible officials.
During the meeting, discussions focused on young people’s aspirations for education, future goals, employment opportunities, innovative ideas, and the promising projects and initiatives of talented students. Special attention was also paid to supporting youth, implementing their initiatives in practice, and creating new opportunities for their development.
Participants exchanged views on the ongoing efforts to advance science, modern technologies, entrepreneurship, and youth employment. Detailed information was provided on available job vacancies for graduating students, opportunities for starting professional careers, investment projects being implemented in the region, and mechanisms for supporting entrepreneurship.
Students actively participated in the dialogue by raising questions and presenting their proposals and initiatives. The opinions and suggestions expressed were carefully considered by the responsible officials, who also provided recommendations aimed at supporting young people in various areas.
At the conclusion of the meeting, specific tasks were assigned to the relevant authorities to facilitate the implementation of the proposals and initiatives put forward by students, examine existing issues, and address them in accordance with established procedures.
