Issues Related to Organizing the Admission Process at a High Level Were Discussed

On June 6 of this year, a meeting chaired by Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations Qo‘ng‘irotboy Sharipov discussed issues related to organizing the admission process for the 2026/2027 academic year, preventing corruption in the system, improving the effectiveness of information policy, and ensuring graduate employment.

In order to ensure the implementation of the tasks defined at the meeting, as well as to organize the entrance examinations for bachelor’s degree programs at a high level and make thorough preparations for the 2026/2027 academic year, another meeting was held.

The meeting was attended by vice-rectors, faculty deans, heads of departments, heads of divisions, and responsible staff involved in the admission process.

At the beginning of the meeting, the results of activities carried out during the completed academic year were analyzed, and the achievements and existing shortcomings were discussed. In addition, priority tasks to be implemented in the new academic year were identified.

Afterwards, all officials involved in the admission process were given relevant instructions and assignments on organizing the entrance examinations based on the principles of openness, transparency, and fairness, as well as creating the necessary convenient conditions for applicants and their parents.

During the meeting, special emphasis was placed on the need to prevent any unlawful cases and inappropriate actions related to the admission process, avoid corruption-related factors, and further strengthen the vigilance and responsibility of the staff in charge.

At the end of the meeting, responsible officials were given relevant instructions to ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of the assigned tasks.
