A cultural and educational trip to the ancient and ever-young city of Samarkand was organized for the professors, teachers, and staff of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute.
The main purpose of the visit was to familiarize participants with the rich historical and cultural heritage of our country, promote domestic tourism, and further strengthen feelings of patriotism, national pride, and respect for historical memory.
During the trip, participants visited some of Samarkand’s most significant historical and cultural landmarks, including:
🔹 Imam Al-Bukhari Memorial Complex;
🔹 Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum;
🔹 Registan Square;
🔹 Monument to Islam Karimov;
🔹 Mausoleum of Islam Karimov;
🔹 Shah-i-Zinda Complex;
🔹 Ulugh Beg Observatory;
🔹 Samarkand City Complex.
Throughout the visit, participants received detailed information about the history of these landmarks, their unique architectural features, the national and universal values embodied within them, as well as their historical and spiritual significance today.
Such trips not only enrich historical knowledge but also contribute to fostering a deeper love for the Motherland, respect for the legacy of our ancestors, and a stronger sense of national pride.
