As part of the implementation of the instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on training highly qualified specialists in the field of nuclear energy, developing engineering schools, and expanding cooperation with leading foreign higher education institutions, an online meeting was held with the participation of the leadership of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (NRNU MEPhI) in Moscow, and its Tashkent Branch.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the ongoing work related to the implementation of the planned "2+2" joint educational program in the field of nuclear energy. In particular, the parties reviewed the jointly developed curricula, exchanged views on the mechanisms for organizing the educational process, and discussed preparations for the student admission process.
The participants also considered the prospects of training specialists with modern knowledge and skills in accordance with international standards through this program, expanding scientific research cooperation, and strengthening the integration of education and science.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reached mutual agreements on advancing their cooperation to a new level, successfully implementing the joint educational programs, and consistently carrying out future organizational activities.
