On June 19 of this year, a delegation from the Gyeongbuk Technopark of the Republic of Korea visited Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute.

The delegation included Ha In Sung, Director of Gyeongbuk Technopark, Kim Yang Jin, Head of the Gyeongbuk International Development Cooperation Center, and Park Ki Baek, a representative of the center.

The meeting was attended by Alisher Usmankulov, Rector of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, Maqsud Ochilov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Sirojiddin Djiyanbayev, Director of the Automotive Engineering School, Sunnat Saidov, Corporate Manager, as well as Sur’at Isomiddinov, Head of the Regional Department of Innovative Development of Jizzakh Region and Executive Director of the Jizzakh Youth Technopark.

During the visit, the guests became closely acquainted with the activities of the Institute’s Automotive Engineering School and the Research and Practical Center for Alternative Energy Sources.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed issues such as employment opportunities for graduates of the Institute in the Republic of Korea in their relevant fields, practical assistance in obtaining the E-7 work visa, as well as the organization of seminars and workshops for students and faculty members.

At the end of the meeting, the sides exchanged views on prospects for further developing cooperation in education, innovation, and human resource training.
