In order to ensure the implementation of the tasks outlined in Instruction No. 02-PA 1/1-2736 of the Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 23, 2026, “On Organizing Meaningful Leisure Activities for School Students, University Students, and Youth in Mahallas During the Summer Vacation,” as well as the protocol of the Regional Commission for Coordinating Youth Affairs in Mahallas dated June 8, 2026, Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute organized a series of events at Secondary School No. 37 located in the “Samarqand Quduq” Mahalla of Sharof Rashidov District.
The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Following this, the Rector of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Professor Alisher Usmankulov, delivered a speech highlighting the reforms being implemented in the country to organize meaningful leisure activities for young people, direct them toward science, sports, and vocational education, and further strengthen cooperation between schools and higher educational institutions.
During the event, Hamid Butunboyev, Director of Secondary School No. 37, presented information about the school’s current activities, achievements, and future objectives. Detailed information was provided on efforts aimed at improving the quality of education, preparing students for admission to higher education institutions, and supporting young people in all aspects of their development.
In the artistic part of the event, Sabina Musurmonova, a student of the Faculty of Transport Engineering, skillfully recited the poem “Motherland,” while Dilshod Narzullayev performed the poem “Mother.”
In addition, Shohsanam Tojiboyeva, a student of the Faculty of Industrial Technologies, performed a traditional national dance, and Islomjon Raimov, a student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, sang the song “Uzbekistan.”
As part of the program, an intellectual game “Zakovat,” sports competitions, psychological training sessions, intellectual quizzes, and various entertaining activities were organized for school students.
These activities contributed to the development of logical thinking skills, strengthened teamwork abilities, promoted meaningful use of leisure time, and encouraged a healthy lifestyle among young people.
Students also participated in traditional group dances and recited poems dedicated to the Motherland. At the end of the event, exhibitions prepared by the Institute’s faculties and departments were organized, providing students with detailed information about academic programs, modern laboratories, innovative developments, and career opportunities available at the Institute.
During the visit, 70 fiction books were donated to the school library. In addition, to support students’ regular participation in sports, 15 football, volleyball, basketball, and handball balls, as well as two table tennis sets, were presented to the school.
This event serves to enhance the spiritual and educational development of young people, increase their interest in higher education, support career guidance, promote reading and sports, and further strengthen cooperation between the school and the higher education institution.
