As part of the “Mustaqillik Toʻyi” Festival, held under the slogan “One Homeland, One Nation – Together We Build a New Life and Future,” members of the Ma’rifat Society of Enlightenment Promoters visited the Jizzakh region.
The festival guests were ceremoniously welcomed at Sharof Rashidov Park in the city of Jizzakh. During the event, tribute was paid to the outstanding statesman and renowned writer Sharof Rashidov for his significant contribution to the development of the nation, the well-being of the people, and the advancement of national spirituality. His rich literary heritage and his ideas of humanism and patriotism were highly recognized.
Faculty members and researchers of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute are also actively participating in the festival events. Together with distinguished poets, scholars, and artists from Tashkent, they held meetings with young people, engaging in meaningful discussions on science, spirituality, patriotism, and the enhancement of youth intellectual potential.

Gʻayrat Majid, member of the Ma’rifat Society of Enlightenment Promoters and Deputy Chairman of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan;
Obiddin Mahmudov, Candidate of Economic Sciences and member of the Ma’rifat Society of Enlightenment Promoters;
Mehmonali Salimov, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan;
renowned singers Alisher Ruzmetov, Shuhrat Daryo, Aziz Rajabiy, Iroda Iskandarova, Ozoda Yorova, Begzod Isxakov, and Sardor Shavkatov, laureate of The Voice project.
As part of the festival, a series of spiritual and educational meetings, creative dialogues, cultural events, and awareness-raising initiatives featuring prominent writers, artists, cultural figures, and intellectuals are planned.
