An Academic-Industrial Cooperation Agreement Was Signed Between Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute and the South Korean Consortium

Today, a signing ceremony of the Academic-Industrial Cooperation Agreement with the South Korean delegation was held at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute within the framework of the project “Improving Horticulture and Agricultural Productivity through Enhancing Soil and Water Quality in Jizzakh Region,” being implemented under the Asian Development Bank Grant No. 9245-UZB.

The event was attended by Alisher Usmankulov, Rector of the Institute; Sanobar Eshbekova, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work; Yorqinbek Rajabov, Vice-Rector for Financial and Economic Affairs; Muhriddin Eshqulov, Head of the International Cooperation Department; as well as representatives of the companies K-Farm Solution, Doohyun E&C, and EN Solution, which are part of the South Korean Green Farm Consortium.

The signed cooperation agreement is aimed at strengthening the integration of education, scientific research, and production, introducing modern technologies in the agricultural sector, jointly implementing innovative projects, and expanding the application of international experience.

The parties also outlined plans for implementing joint scientific and practical projects in the areas of organic fertilizer production, efficient water resource management, wastewater treatment and its reuse in agriculture, establishing academic exchanges for faculty members and students, as well as organizing short-term training and professional development programs in the Republic of Korea.

The parties emphasized that this cooperation will not only contribute to the effective implementation of project objectives but also play an important role in elevating the international cooperation of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute to a new level, strengthening the integration of science, education, and industry, and training highly qualified specialists.
