**The Third Uzbekistan–Kyrgyzstan Rectors' Forum**
Today, the Third Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan commenced in the Issyk-Kul Region of the Kyrgyz Republic. The forum is aimed at strengthening academic, scientific, and practical cooperation between the two countries.
Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute is represented at this prestigious international platform, which serves to elevate regional and academic cooperation to a new level. Among the participants are rectors of higher education institutions, representatives of the relevant ministries and agencies of both countries, including the Rector of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, **Alisher Usmankulov**.
During the opening ceremony, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, **Qo‘ng‘irotboy Sharipov**, the Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic, **Gulzat Isamatova**, and the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, **Ulan Mamatkanov**, addressed the participants. In their speeches, they highlighted the current state of cooperation in higher education and science between the two countries, the achievements attained, and the priority areas for future collaboration.
As emphasized during the forum, this event serves as an important platform for further strengthening the strategic partnership between the higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, expanding academic and scientific cooperation, promoting the mobility of students and faculty members, and enhancing the integration of education, science, and business.
The forum agenda also includes the signing of cooperation agreements, the organization of a student startup exhibition, and discussions on the sustainable development of modern universities.
