Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute hosted a series of educational, scientific and practical, and cultural events as part of the International Summer School on “Climate Resilience and Modern Water Technologies”, with the participation of faculty members and students from Sharif University of Technology and Shihezi University.
The participants visited the Institute’s IT Park, laboratories, School of Automotive Engineering, Research and Practice Center for Alternative Energy, as well as other educational and research facilities, where they familiarized themselves with their activities.
The foreign guests also visited “Jamshid-1” farm and “IRUSKON” LLC, where they explored modern technologies and innovative approaches used in agricultural and industrial processes, including the efficient management and use of water resources.
As part of the programme, visits were organized to Jizzakh City Technical School No. 3, the Sharof Rashidov, Zulfiya, and Hamid Olimjon museums, the Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas pilgrimage site, the Zomin Mountains, as well as historical and cultural landmarks in Samarkand.
The main objectives of the International Summer School were to exchange knowledge and experience in climate resilience and modern water technologies, promote scientific cooperation, and strengthen international academic ties.
