Today, September 4, the first Council Meeting of the 2026/2027 Academic Year was held in the large conference hall of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute under the chairmanship of the institute’s Rector, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Alisher Usmankulov.

The meeting was attended by the institute’s administration, Council members, heads of structural divisions and responsible specialists, professors and lecturers, as well as representatives of relevant fields.

At the beginning of the meeting, the achievements of the institute’s staff in scientific-pedagogical and professional activities were particularly recognized. In particular, the significant contribution of a group of professors and lecturers to the development of modern science and education was highlighted, and certificates for the academic titles of Professor and Associate Professor, as well as PhD diplomas, were solemnly presented to their recipients.

Following this, the Council thoroughly discussed issues related to important areas of the institute’s activities included in the meeting agenda.

First, the work carried out during the 2025/2026 Academic Year was reviewed, including an analysis of the results achieved, accomplishments, and shortcomings identified in the course of activities. Relevant tasks were set to address existing problems and further improve work efficiency.

The meeting also addressed the priority tasks to be carried out during the 2026/2027 Academic Year, including the effective organization of the educational process, coordination of spiritual-enlightenment and scientific activities, further improvement of the quality of education, and achievement of established performance indicators. Relevant instructions and assignments were given to those responsible.

Particular attention was paid to the effective organization of the educational process at the institute. In particular, necessary tasks were set to ensure a high-quality start to the new academic year, organize the educational process effectively, hold the “Dedication to Student Life” ceremony at a high level, and provide a worthy welcome to newly admitted students.

Another important agenda item was an analysis of the work carried out to ensure the implementation of decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, documents of the Cabinet of Ministers, ministerial orders, and instructions from higher organizations. Relevant instructions were given to responsible officials to further strengthen executive discipline and ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of assigned tasks.

At the same time, relevant decisions were adopted on all issues discussed during the Council meeting. Priority tasks were identified to further improve the institute’s activities, enhance the quality of education, increase the effectiveness of research activities, make effective use of the scientific potential of professors and lecturers, and fully utilize existing opportunities.

Specific assignments and instructions were given to responsible managers and employees to ensure the timely, high-quality, and effective implementation of the designated tasks.

The tasks identified at the Council meeting will contribute to further improving the institute’s activities in the new academic year, increasing the effectiveness of educational and research processes, and bringing the quality of education to a new level.
