On September 9, 2026, an online meeting was held between representatives of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute and Zittau–Görlitz University of Applied Sciences in Germany.

The meeting focused on the following areas:

Exchange of educational programs and teaching and methodological materials;
Joint preparation of scientific articles and initiation of collaborative research;
Germany’s experience in organizing dual education and university–industry cooperation;
Focusing cooperation on practical outcomes, including implementation stages and timelines.

The German side was represented by Oliwia Sikorska, Kristin Groß, and Susanne Fentzel. The institute was represented by Maqsudjon Ochilov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs; Jamshid Abdunazarov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs; Muhriddin Eshqulov, Head of the International Cooperation Department, and responsible staff members.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a question-and-answer session and open discussions were held. The participants exchanged views on coordinating the next tasks, implementation procedures, and deadlines for each area of cooperation.
