A preventive awareness event aimed at preventing emergencies that may occur during the autumn–winter season, particularly carbon monoxide poisoning and fires, was organized at the Jizzakh City Department of Emergency Situations.

During the event, Lieutenant Colonel Fazliddin Norpo‘latovich Rahmankulov, Head of the Jizzakh City Department of Emergency Situations, provided students with detailed information on the importance of strictly observing safety rules during the autumn–winter season, using heating appliances properly and safely, not leaving gas equipment unattended, and preventing carbon monoxide poisoning.

Practical recommendations were also provided on how to respond correctly in emergency situations, comply with fire safety requirements, take necessary measures in the event of a gas leak, and promptly contact the relevant emergency services.

Representatives of higher education institutions, healthcare organizations, academic lyceums, vocational education institutions, and other organizations also participated in the preventive event.

During the event, specialists provided detailed answers to students’ questions and shared the necessary recommendations for safely navigating the autumn–winter season.

The event contributes to preventing fires and other emergencies among young people, raising safety awareness, and developing the necessary knowledge and skills for safely passing through the autumn–winter season.
