On September 24, 2026, members of the delegation led by Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute Rector A. Usmankulov held a meeting with the leadership of China’s Hefei University of Technology.

The following areas of cooperation were discussed:

🔹 Opportunities for undergraduate students to continue their studies, as well as academic and research exchanges for master’s and doctoral students;

🔹 Joint development of textbooks, publication of scientific articles, and participation in international conferences;

🔹 Implementation of joint international research projects and commercialization of scientific and technological developments;

🔹 Establishment of a joint laboratory for electric vehicles and autonomous vehicles;

🔹 Mutual engagement of academic staff as visiting or adjunct professors.

The possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also discussed. The heads of the two higher education institutions agreed to formally sign the memorandum during an international conference to be held at Hefei University of Technology on November 6–8, 2026.
