A “Leader and Youth” meeting was held at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute to address young people’s concerns, support their proposals and initiatives, establish open and sincere dialogue with youth, and discuss vocational guidance and employment opportunities.
The meeting was attended by Dilmurod Xudayshukurov, Deputy Governor of Jizzakh Region for Youth Policy, Social Development and Spiritual Affairs; Murodbek Rakhmonbediyev, Head of the Jizzakh Regional Department of Youth Affairs; Sardorbek Tursanaliyev, Major and Deputy Head of the Jizzakh Regional Department of the National Guard; Sherzod Hayitov, Colonel and representative of the Jizzakh Regional Justice Department; Abdurahmon Rabbimov, Chairman of the Jizzakh Regional Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan; as well as the institute’s leadership, faculty members, and students.
During the event, participants exchanged views on opportunities created for young people, education and vocational training, employment, entrepreneurship, improving legal literacy, organizing meaningful leisure activities, and further increasing youth participation in social life.
Students’ concerns, proposals, and initiatives were also heard. Relevant tasks were assigned to responsible officials to support young people and resolve existing problems directly.
As part of the event, certificates were ceremonially presented to 89 conscript servicemen of the Jizzakh Regional Department of the National Guard, confirming their successful completion of professional training courses in four vocational fields.
This initiative is particularly significant because it helps young people performing compulsory military service acquire modern, practical skills, secure decent employment after completing their service, become self-employed, and establish their own businesses in the future.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants agreed to continue efforts to comprehensively support young people, help them realize their knowledge and potential, develop their professional skills, and ensure their active participation in society.
