The Department of Uzbek and Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Esports at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute organised a spiritual and educational event titled “My Uzbek Language — The Soul of My Nation and My National Pride!” to mark October 21 — Uzbek Language Day.

The main objectives of the event were to enhance the prestige and status of the state language, foster love and devotion to the mother tongue among young people, preserve national values, and widely promote the rich expressive potential of the Uzbek language.

Faculty members and students took part in the event, sharing their views on the invaluable role of the mother tongue in preserving national identity, spirituality, and cultural heritage. The importance of respecting the state language, preserving its purity, and observing literary language standards in everyday communication was also emphasised.
