1. Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute (hereinafter referred to as JizPI).JizPI was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of February 28, 1992 and Resolution No. 125 of the Cabinet of Ministers of March 11, 1992 on the basis of the Jizzakh branches of the Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering, the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and the Tashkent Automobile and Road Institute, and is part of the organizational structure of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

2. JizPI is a state higher education institution engaged in educational activities to implement basic and additional (or only basic) educational programs of higher education, and also carries out educational, scientific-methodological and other activities and provides educational services in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan

3. In its activities, JizPI is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law "On Education", the National Program for Personnel Training, resolutions of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers, regulatory legal acts of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education and this Charter.

4. JizPI is a legal entity. It has separate property under operational management and is liable for its obligations with this property; it may acquire property in its own name, exercise property and non-property rights, assume obligations, and be a plaintiff and defendant in court. It has an independent balance sheet, settlement and other accounts, including foreign currency accounts, in banking institutions, a seal bearing the image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its own name, stamps and other details
