  Information about the department of CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY
The future of every society is determined by the level of development of its education system, which is its integral part and vital necessity. Today, the reform and improvement of the continuous education system of our country, which is moving along the path of independent development, raising it to a new qualitative level, introducing advanced pedagogical and information technologies into it, and increasing the efficiency of education have risen to the level of state policy. With the adoption of the Law "On Education" and the "National Program for Personnel Training", the basis for modern personnel training through the continuous education system has been created. As the Republic of Uzbekistan moves towards building a democratic, legal and civil society, the main goal and driving force of the reforms being implemented in the field of education is to educate a well-rounded person who is fully developed. The Department of Chemical Technology carries out educational and methodological, scientific and methodological, research work in specialized disciplines, as well as training, advanced training and retraining of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel, as well as organizational, spiritual, educational and educational work. The Department of Chemical Technology was established in 1983 as part of the Jizzakh branch of the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute under the name of the Department of General Chemistry under the leadership of Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Kurbonov Farhod Kurbonovich. In 1995-2005, the department was headed by Candidate of Chemical Sciences B.Urdusheva, in 2006-2010 Candidate of Chemical Sciences N.Tangyarikov, in 2011 Associate Professor I.Ro'zmatov, in 2012-2016 M.N.Pozilov, in 2017-2018 Candidate of Science, Associate Professor I.Ro'zmatov, and in 2018-2023 S.Vaqqosov. Since 2023, the department has been headed by Doctor of Science (DSc) Sh.Umarov. The Department of "Chemical Technology" currently has established cooperation relations with the following organizations: Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Scientific Research Institute of Polymer Physics and Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Scientific Research Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry, Scientific Research Institute of Microbiology, "Jizzakh Accumulator Plant" JSC, "Jizzakhplastmassa" JSC, "Jizzakh Cement Plant" JSC, "Jizzakhpolimerplast" LLC, "Irrigation Invest" LLC, "Zenatkor Temir Beton" LLC, "Sogdiana Pipe Plast" LLC, "Jizzakh Neft Baza" LLC, "Hudud Gas" Jizzakh Gas Supply Branch. The Department of "Chemical Technology" is a department under the faculty of "Building Materials and Chemical Technology" of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute and carries out its activities in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Education", the "National Program for Personnel Training", regulatory documents of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, resolutions of the Scientific Council of the institute, orders of the rector of the institute, and the Charter of the department. The department trains personnel in the following bachelor's degrees: 60710100 - Chemical Technology (Electrochemical Production), 60710100 - Chemical Technology (Building Materials), 60721100 - Oil and Oil and Gas Processing Technology, 60712100 - Metallurgy, and 70710106 - Chemical Resistance and Corrosion Protection of Materials. The following types of activities are carried out in the department of "Chemical Technology": educational work, scientific and methodological work, scientific and research work, organizational and methodological work, spiritual and educational, educational and sports work, other work within the framework of the integration of education and production. The department is effectively working on these types of activities in the 2023-2024 academic year. The department ensures the implementation of the decisions of the Ministry, the Institute's scientific and scientific and methodological councils.
