  HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Starting from the 2001 academic year, students began to be admitted to the "Engineering Communications Construction" and "Ecology and Nature Use" specialties under the "Labor and Environmental Protection" department, and in 2005, students graduated for the first time in these specialties. "Ekologiya va atrof muhit muhofazasi" kafedrasi 2012 yil iyul oyidan boshlab yangi kafedra sifatida faoliyat ko'rsata boshladi. 2012 yildan boshlab kafedra bazasida 5630100- Ekologiya va atrof muhit muhofazasi, 2019 yildan boshlab 5640200-Mehnat muhofazasi va texnika xavfsizligi mutaxassisligi bo'yicha malakali kadrlar tayyorlash yo'lga qo'yildi. Kafedrani 2025 yildan boshlab Tirkasheva Muqaddas Baxromovna boshqarib kelmoqda.
  BAKALAVRIAT YO'NALISHI.

Direction - Uzbekistan Continuing Education State Educational Standards, State Educational Standards of Higher Education, Classifier of Higher Education Directions and Specialties. Duration of full-time education - 4 years. Academic degree - "Bachelor" 60710400-Ecology and Environmental Protection (in industry) educational institutions where students work: -All branch enterprises of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change -Purification of atmospheric air from dust and toxic gases, wastewater treatment; drinking water purification processes and devices for drinking water preparation; solid waste processing facilities; -Organizations for designing environmental protection systems; -Industrial and manufacturing enterprises. -Professional educational institutions. -Enterprises for assembling and adjusting equipment and their structures used in the environmental protection system; -Organizations for inventorying environmental pollution sources. Bachelor's degree training in the field of 61020200- Occupational health and safety (by industry) is carried out in full-time, evening, part-time and distance learning. Training in all forms of education is organized on the basis of a credit-module system. The standard duration of a bachelor's degree program in full-time education is 4 years, in evening education - 4.5 years, in part-time and distance learning - 5 years. Academic degree - "Bachelor" 61020200- Occupational health and safety (by industry) is a field of study in the field of science and technology, which covers a set of tools, methods, techniques and styles of human activity aimed at developing, implementing, controlling and using a system of legal, socio-economic, organizational, technical, sanitary-hygienic, treatment-preventive, rehabilitation measures and tools to ensure human safety, life and health, and work capacity in the labor process, as well as determining the prospects of the industry, professional skills, and leadership abilities. Objects of professional activity of bachelors in the field of education 61020200- Occupational safety and technical safety (by industry): - Structures and centers of the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as life safety training centers; - in state and non-state organizations, enterprises and institutions, companies (firms), production associations; - in state administration bodies, in property, industrial and business organizations of various forms, regardless of the form of ownership; - industrial and manufacturing enterprises; - professional educational institutions; - enterprises for the installation and adjustment of equipment and their structures used in the labor protection system; - means of technical support of scientific and production activities; educational process in professional educational institutions
  SCIENTIFIC WORKS UNDERTAKEN IN THE DEPARTMENT
During the years 2022-2024, the following professors and teachers received the degrees of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological Sciences (M.Kholkoziyeva), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Technical Sciences (A.Taylakov), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological Sciences (Z.Bobomurodov), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Agricultural Sciences (G.Karayev), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological Sciences (N.Achilova). In addition, I.Toynazarova, B.Kholmatov, D.Berdiyeva are also scheduled to complete their scientific work and defend their dissertations by the end of 2024. Bundan tashqari, 2023-2024 o'quv yilida kafedramiz professor-o'qituvchilari X.Qiryigitov, M.Xolqo'ziyeva, N.Achilova Dotsent ilmiy unvonini olishdi. Kafedrada 2023-2024 yillarda 7 ta darslik, 6 ta o'quv qo'llanma, 8 ta monografiya professor-o'qituvchilar tomonidan chop etildi. Kafedra talabasi Odilov Sarvar Akromovich "Beruniy" nomli stependiya sohibi bo'ldi, 2020-yil ikki nafar talaba Usmonova Bahora Komiljon qizi "Ekologiya va atrof-muhit muhofazasi" fanidan fahrli III- o'rin, Abdug'afforov Muzaffar Abduhalil o'g'li "Sanoat chiqindilarini tozalash" fanlaridan Respublika fan olimpiadasida fahrli III- o'rin sohibi bo'lishdi. Talabalarning bo'sh vaqtini mazmunli o'tkazish maqsadida kafedrada "Yosh ekologlar" ilmiy-ijodiy to'garagi tashkil etilgan bo'lib, bunda 24 nafar iqtidorli talabalar qatnashib kelmoqda. 2025 йилда dosent M. Xolqo’ziyeva rahbarligidagi kafedra o’qituvchilari O’zbekiston Respublikasi Oliy ta’lim, fan va innovatsiyalar vazirligi ilmiy-tadqiqot ishlariga davalt buyurtmasi asosida o’tkazilgan “Olima ayollar-2024” amaliy loyihalar tanlovida, “Ferula tadshikorum Pimenov turining urug’laridan ekilgan ko’chatzorlardan Jizzax viloyatining lalmikor maydonlariga plantasiyalar tashkil qilish ” nomli loyihasinig 841 mln so’mlik vaucherni qo’lga kiritdi. Hozirgi kunda tadqiqot ishlari amalga oshirilmoqda. Shuningdek, kafedrada 6 nafar professor-o’qituvchi ERASMUS+ dasturining 101179013-GREENDT (barqaror o’tish va ijtimoiy o’zgarishlar orqali atrof-muhit muhandisligi magistrlik darajasini amalga oshirish/GREENDT) loyihasi ishtirokchisi bo’lib hozirgi kunda loyi ustida xisobot ishlari amalga oshirilib kelinmoqda.
