Information about the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature
In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 5850, on December 10, 2019, the Department of "Uzbek Language and Literature" was separated from the Department of "Foreign Languages" and was established. Currently, the Department of "Uzbek Language and Literature" has 14 professors and teachers, 1 head of the office and 2 laboratory assistants.
Starting from the 2019-2022 academic year, the department is headed by a talented leader, senior teacher Hamdamova Khanifakhon Shukrillaevna, who is contributing to the development and advancement of education in new conditions based on new trends.
To date, 4 subjects have been assigned to the department, Uzbek and Russian languages are taught at the department, and the total teaching load for the 2021-2022 academic year is 10,962 hours.
Currently, the department consists of 14 professors and teachers, 7 of whom are senior teachers and 6 are assistants. The main tasks of the department are to train qualified bachelors and masters, develop teaching methods, and conduct scientific research.
Electronic educational and methodological complexes have been created for all subjects taught at the department based on modern pedagogical and information technologies.
In connection with the transition to a credit-modular education system, the subjects taught at the department are 120 hours, 4 credits and 60 hours of independent study.
Today, three teachers are engaged in research work:
1. Khamdamova Hanifaxon Shukurillaevna - 10.00.01 - Uzbek language
2. Ziyaeva Magbuba Fazlidinovna - 13.00.01 - Pedagogy
3. Mardanov Rahim Gaybulla oglu - 10.00.02 - Uzbek literature
4. Norboev Urazali Murodovich - 08.00.06 Econometrics and statistics
Currently, there are textbooks on the subjects taught by the department staff:
1. Hamdamova Kh.Sh. Work in the state language
2. Hamdamova Kh. and Soatova D. Uzbek language in the field of communication
3. Abduvakhobova D.E. Russian language
4. Almamatova Sh. Phonetics teaching methodology
The professors and teachers of the department have published 76 scientific articles at international and republican conferences.
According to the plan, the department's employees undergo systematic advanced training. The department has clubs such as "Polyglot", "Radunitsa", "Savodxon", and "Kaldirg'och".
